Review: "Save Your Tears" (Remix) - The Weeknd ft. Ariana Grande A year ago, this relatively unknown "bop" was overshadowed by The Weeknd's other musings from his chart topping success "Blinding Lights", however "Save Your Tears" was sure to be a no. 1 hit with Ariana Grande on board, fresh off the success of her latest album "Positions". Topping the Billboard 200 chart, the princess of pop once again proved that anything she touches turns to gold. Singing at a much lower register than her signature whistle tone, although the track isn't completely devoid of her signature, with simply divine versions of the latter adorning The Weeknd's subdued vocals, Ariana has made this remix all her own. The song is moving with its mellow vocals and snappy beat, making this one of the best songs of the year and certainly the best Ariana-Abel collaboration to come out of their years-long partnership. I've been listening to "Moi Je Joue" by Brigitte Bardot quite a bit lately. She's one of my favourite French icons of all time.
